As a recent graduate of University of Calgary’s Creative Writing Program as well as a 2022 graduate of Simon Fraser University’s Writer’s Studio, I have not only gained a keen sense of the english language but have developed strong skills on giving feedback and critiquing other students’ work, which was an integral part of both programs. My writing prose tends to have a lighthearted, humorous tone, but I can stretch my range when required. My poetry on the other hand, tends to be more macabre and/or angst-filled. My life and work experiences delve from a myriad of roles, and my passions cover the creative to the meticulous, depending on the task. Blogs, copywriting, newsletters, social media, preliminary editing, critiquing and feedback are my strong suits. I am currently working on both a non-fiction and a fiction novel and dabble in poetry, with hopes of publishing.
